is a small Company based in South Australia. ABPM began in the mid 1990’s producing defibrinated horse blood (DHB) for a Japanese client, and to this day still sends DHB to that client every fortnight.

because of its founder’s practical Farming and Veterinary Science background, quickly developed a project management service which is used in the value added agricultural animal industry.

currently processes and supplies Defibrinated Horse Blood as well as a wide range of Animal Biologicals , Blood and Serum to Hospitals, Universities, Research Institutes and Agriculture Departments throughout Australia for usage embracing Virology, Bacteriology, Medical Veterinary and Agricultural Research.
Blood products are collected on a fortnightly basis from healthy animals under strict animal welfare protocols and dispatched by overnight courier direct to client’s premises.

has three Beckman J6/MI series centrifuges for the spinning of blood collection packs to enable the aspiration of serum or plasma. The use of Laminar Flow Cabinets for product protection, filtration through sterile cartridges, or end-stage Gamma Irradiation, give ABPM clients the confidence they need when purchasing critical biological products. Aseptic techniques allow ABPM to sell animal biological products with an exemplary recall record.

- Management of the outsourcing collection of Defibrinated Sheep Blood
- Collection of Bovine and Equine Blood from abattoir sites for serum production. Advice to abattoir companies on such matters has also been provided
- Managed pre-clinical trials and field research for Veterinary Pharmaceutical Companies
